GIRLS ON TOUR
We love a girls trip to Menorca, an alternative to a European city break but with all the best bits that a city break has: shopping, good food, galleries and fabulous shoes of course, all handmade on the island (avarcas aside, Menorca is home to @prettyballerinas and @mascaro_official )
Here’s our lowdown of our favourite things to do with our friends whilst here:
Saturday morning shopping in Mahon, we hit Mango hard (the staff are on first name terms with us ) and then browse around Mon Natural and some of the other independent shops lining the shopping streets of Mahon town.
We love to stop for coffees and pastries in @esllonguet_fornartesa make sure you check it out.
Isabella in Platges de Fornells for sunset chillout drinks.

Latitude 40 in Mahon Port for gin & tonics and dinner, live music at the weekends and great buzzy yachting scene.
Restaurante Es Bruc in Santo Tomas for lunch off the beach and cañas.
Restaurante Es Chic in Es Migjorn Gran for menorcan style plates and an excellent view across the countryside.
Restaurante Tast in Mercadal on market nights in the lively square to soak up the balmy Mediterranean evening atmosphere.
Isla Del Rey, get the small ferry across from the port of Mahon to this tiny island full of history. Walk around the gallery and enjoy a delicious fine dining experience in the canteena there.
Hotel Villa Le Blanc Gran Melia in Santo Tomas for dinner and drinks or a spa experience. Total luxury in the most idyllic location. A real treat.
Ciutadella for a fun evening out and dancing in one of the port-side bars and clubs, we love Jazzbah and the neighbouring roof-top terrace bars.
Fornells for swimming off the rocks followed by brunch in Restaurante Sa Nansa with views across the sea.
The recipe for an excellent few days with friends = good food, lots of sun, sea swimming and belly laughs.
